Slow or unreliable Wi-Fi can come from the network inside your building. We plan cabling, switches and wireless coverage around your devices and the layout of your property.
What's included
Structured cabling
Cat6 and fibre runs, patch panels, a tidy labelled cabinet, and every port tested and recorded.
Switching and routing
Managed switches with enough Power over Ethernet (PoE) capacity for the cameras and access points, plus a gateway that can handle two internet lines where the site has them.
Wireless coverage
Access point placement based on a walk-through of the building, with settings adjusted to help devices stay connected as they move, subject to device compatibility.
Segmentation and remote access
Separate networks for staff, guests, cameras and payment devices where appropriate, with secure virtual private network (VPN) access for the people who need it.
Common questions
Can you fix Wi-Fi without recabling?
Sometimes. Moving access points or adjusting their settings can help. Where part of the building has no cabling, we can advise whether mesh Wi-Fi or a new cable run is suitable.
Do you handle two internet providers?
Where a second line is available, a suitable gateway can switch to it if the main connection drops.
Who manages it afterwards?
You choose who manages the network. We document the port map, IP addresses and settings so your staff or another provider can maintain it.
